This week's Time magazine includes an article entitled "The Gospel According to Spider Man" by Richard Corliss. It contains quotes from Robert Johnston, a professor at Fuller Theological Semninary. It also has a funny (to me) illustration of everybody's favorite webslinger wielding a cross.

I thought the new spiderman movie had quite a bit of spiritual applications in it, but that was just me. I also think I would wet my pants if I were spiderman and my web shooting ability went haywire while falling from a building.
